The Medicare Advantage sales certification training has been
updated for 2009. This training includes new rules and regulations
that have been mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Services (CMS) as well as our new benefits information. All agents
and brokers licensed and appointed by AmeriHealth must complete the
training by October 23, 2008, in order to market or sell AmeriHealth
Medicare Advantage plans.
The web-based training includes modules covering Medicare basics,
plan-specific information, and marketing and enrollment guidelines.
A minimum score of 85 percent is required on the final exam.
